Jasmine D. Gary is an education policy writer and analyst at one of our nation’s largest labor unions. She bleeds green & white as an alumna of Michigan State University where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Social Relations & Policy. She has Masters degrees in Urban Education Policy from Brown University and in Teaching from Pace University. She taught for three years at an elementary charter school in Brooklyn, New York and also worked with the Rhode Island Department of Education as a Title I specialist. She lives in Maryland with her partner and toddler daughter. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
